Open Day 2021 cancelled

The FarmLink team has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Open Day. The evolving COVID-19 situation in NSW has impacted the ability of many of our scheduled presenters to travel between local government areas or interstate to attend the event.
However, we know that among our members there is great interest in the trials we had planned to showcase, and in the workshops and demonstrations that were part of the Open Day schedule. For this reason, we have decided to opt for a video/online format, which will allow our members to see the scale and results of the agronomic research that is taking place at the TAIC and on participants’ properties. The short video format will include an overview from the FarmLink project lead, James or Hayden, a tour of the trial and a presentation and discussion of results. First up will be the pre-emergent demo and the mixed species grazing trial, with other trials, workshops and panels to follow.
We will also schedule small scale in-person tours of the trials, which, while having limited numbers, will allow members to see the trials here at TAIC for themselves and to discuss what’s going on.
Keep an eye out for your fortnightly eLink newsletter and on our socials for when these trial discussions will be available.
