FarmLink Structure

FarmLink Research is a company limited by guarantee. FarmLink is overseen by an Executive Committee of eleven growers (three of which are Directors of the company). FarmLink employs four staff for the day-to day operations of the company.

There are three sub-committees within the organisation which are made up of growers, advisers, researchers and agribusiness members. The sub-committees include:

A) Executive – responsible for the business structure and operations of FarmLink Research.

B) Finance – responsible for monitoring project budgets and operating accounts of FarmLink Research.

C) Research evaluation – responsible for developing research projects nominated by growers and responding to critical research needs that arise throughout the season (eg. new disease or insect infestation).
